Size

Reserve your Thanksgiving bird with a $50 deposit. You are reserving a size, not an exact weight. We weigh your turkey at pickup and you pay the balance then.

Wet-brined, ready for the oven

Every bird is wet-brined — orange juice, salt, brown sugar, coriander and sage. We brine well in advance, so the bird you collect is ready to go straight in the oven. Nothing for you to do but roast it.

Prefer it unbrined? Tick No brine when you reserve and it's $5.99 per pound instead.

Priced by weight

Turkeys are $7.99 per pound, wet-brined. Without the brine they are $5.99 per pound — $2.00 a pound less, taken off at the counter when we weigh your bird. Your $50 deposit is the same either way.

How much bird do you need?

We plan on about 1.6 pounds per person. That is deliberately generous — it is the difference between everyone eating on Thursday and everyone eating again on Friday. If you want sandwiches through the weekend, size up a band.

Our turkeys

We buy Joyce Farms turkeys, grown on selected North Carolina and Georgia farms with free-range pasture — outside, in fresh air and sunshine, the way turkeys used to be grown. No hormones, no artificial ingredients, a wholesome grain diet, and a low-stress environment. They are processed in a USDA-approved facility under an approved HACCP program, and we hand-select ours from the very best of the USDA Grade A birds.

These are not the mass-produced commodity birds in a supermarket case. They are not grown to be the cheapest turkey in town. Plenty of four- and five-star restaurants and private clubs use them exclusively for their own holiday menus. More about our turkeys and how we brine them →
